More than 15 percent of all jobs in our country are in construction and engineering. Employers in these industries are looking for well-trained individuals who are ready to work and contribute from day one.

The Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies teaches students hard and soft skills that are critical to these industries. Field placements and research projects ensure that you have a true applied learning experience, while our Industry Liaison Office connects you with employers that are looking to recruit.

We have a reputation as the industry’s choice for smart construction and engineering technologies professionals. We are continually adopting industry priorities as our own. For example, today’s organizations are focused on environmental concerns, so students are taught to address everything from sustainable design to recyclable materials. Many programs include field placement with key players in the industry giving you the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while honing your technical skills in an actual workplace.

The Centre for Construction and Engineering Technologies offers programs in four distinct schools:

School of Construction Management & Trades

School of Computer Technology

School of Mechanical Engineering Technologies
